In close cooperation with interior architect Wim Hart Lichtvormgevers has developed and realized the lighting concept for the HZPC head office in Joure. Based upon the outspoken interior and design of the central hall Lichtvormgevers has created a light vision and light system that compliments the architecture. The light fixtures have the same ovale shape as the central hall. Every where indirect lighting is used to illuminate and visualize the entire architectural space. As one of the first in the Netherlands daylight depending office lighting was used for the workplaces.
With over 10 main offices in Europe the HZPC is the leading worldwide supplier of potatoes. With over 300 employee's, more than 800 farmers and 55 hatcheries the HZPC is striving to maintain and improve the supply of new and specific species of potatoes.
