The Government of The Hague is committed to keep the city visible after sunset. With this the city can enhance it's identity to the rest of world. The "Binnenhof" is due to it's nature constant visible in the media. This ongoing visibility justifies the need of an illumination that fits and enhances the identity of the complex.
Lichtvormgevers has developed a lighting concept for the Government, of which a few parts are already realized. The concept consists of a plan with which the artificial lighting follows the directions of the naturally light. This creates naturally and recognizable light effects on the facades of the complex.
