Lichtvormgevers has developed the lighting plan for the facade lighting in the Lange Hezelstraat in Nijmegen. Lichtvormgevers also realized the project and was the director during the installment. The Lange Hezelstraat - being the oldest shopping street of The Netherlands - has a great historical heritage and it is a miracle that the entire street survived the war. The town of Nijmegen developed a new layout for the street in which it gets an accommodation function in stead of a traffic function. Key feature of the lighting concept is enhancing the unique identity and visualization of the historically important monuments after sunset.
